Britain’s Most Expensive Houses follows top agents from UK Sotheby’s International Realty as they offer insight on some of the most spectacular properties on the market. Channel 4 picked up on the need to provide a little escapism whilst also acknowledging a world-wide trend as people sought properties with more space in light of the pandemic and the stamp duty holiday. The documentary will air at 8PM on the 28th of December.

News from North London

North West London continues to be a very price sensitive market with fewer transactions occurring due to a general sense of caution. However; there are a handful of buyers with the general opinion that the market has reached, or is close to, the bottom and so they are trying to close deals now and move on.

Marlborough Place For Sale £11.75M

That said, certain key instructions will always achieve a premium: 22 Marlborough Place in St. Johns Wood is one of such properties; it is a detached 5-bedroom house spread across 3 floors. The property benefits from gated off-street parking, an indoor swimming pool, and a beautifully large rear garden. Asking price is £11.75 million.

North West London will always have an appeal to families looking to live within an area with good private schools and the ability to walk to a local park, and boutique shops and cafes. North West London’s key areas include Hampstead, St John’s Wood, and Highgate; all of which have fantastic transport links to Central London and the City.

We are about to launch a 20,000 sq. ft. detached house in Highgate which sits on a 2.5-acre block. The house is architecturally designed with a ‘James Bond’ feel to it – listing at £40 million. If you would like any further information, please get in contact.
